Data storage technology has come a long way over the past couple of decades, I mean, look how big your standard 1 GB drive was 20 years ago was! Now, all your storage worries could be all over; Nanoscale hard drive technology developed by Japanese researchers working for Hitachi could soon see a quadrupling of the current storage limits on devices such as laptops and iPods. 4 TB desktops may not be far away.
