This is an inexpensive Cross-platform USB 2.0 Dock for SATA 2.5 and 3.5 HDD. Who needs one of those expensive portable hard drives when you can use one of these? It is hot swappable. It mounts easily. It uses both form factors of SATA HDD. And it is not a Windows only device! True, it's not quite as portable, but for desktop use this would be a very handy tool.
